Mr. De Los Santos served 4 years active duty in the United States Army from July 2002 to November 2006, and he currently serves in the United States Army Reserves as a Non Commissioned Officer, training newly enlisted soldiers and ROTC cadets in a variety of basic fundamentals and skills that are necessary to prepare for deployment into a combat zone. In 2003 he was deployed for ten months to Afghanistan with the prestigious 10th Mountain Division, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2005 he then deployed as a NCO to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, again with the 10th Mountain Division.
